Teaching


Undergraduate

Members of the Epithelial Research Group make a significant contribution to undergraduate teaching within the Faculty of Medical Sciences and our teaching is relevant to the medical and health sciences. At honours levels we teach on a number of undergraduate BSc Honours courses organised by the School of Biomedical Sciences including Physiological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences and Pharmacology as well as contributing to the common first year course delivered to students studying Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Biochemistry with Immunology, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Genetics, Human Genetics, Medical Microbiology and Immunology, Pharmacology, and Physiological Sciences.

All units of assessment in the School of Biomedical Sciences gained a maximum score of 24/24 in the last Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) teaching quality audit.

In addition we also contribute to pre-clinical teaching in Medicine (MBBS Honours)  and Dentistry (BDS Honours).


Postgraduate

ERG staff are actively involved in training postgraduate research students as part of MRes, PhD and MD programmes.
